One word – the right word – is worth a thousand pictures, whether it is written, spoken, posted on Twitter or sent as a text message. As a journalist, I spend every day choosing the right words, the ones that speak their minds unflinchingly and raise their voices to tell their stories.

I chronicle the world’s successes and defeats, its hopes and desires, sorrows and joys. For these universal stories capture a moment in time and define its place in history.

I have written about everything from Broadway theatre to travel and specialize in website content, print and electronic newsletters, personality profiles and articles on art, architecture, antiques, real estate and interior design.

I have interviewed everyone from Baxter the Clown to Tesla’s Elon Musk. I got interview-shy media mogul Rupert Murdoch to talk to me – and write his own New York Post headline under deadline pressure – and I got legal eagle Barry Slotnick to let me be his sole judge and jury.

My stories have appeared in more than 50 print and online publications, including The New York Times, The HuffPost, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Post, The New York Daily News, Vogue, Victoria, The Robb Report, Woman’s Day, the NewYorkSocialDiary.com and The Associated Press.

My photos have appeared on ABC News, CBS News and in The New York Times, The HuffPost, the New York Post and USA TODAY.

The message is the medium, and I know first-hand that the right word really does have the last word:

YES!
